Engaging meaningfully with our staff, building public trust in statistics and understanding what ONS means to the general public who complete our surveys – promoting the connection between the benefits of published statistics and demands on respondents. Securing funding to meet these challenges is a challenge in itself.
What has been your greatest communication achievement?
Securing the support of a risk averse Local Authority to rebrand.
What do you think is the secret of great communication?
Talk, talk and talk some more.
If you could do any other job, what would it be and why?
Ranching in California – Why? An ingrained love of horses, outdoors and sunshine.
